A member asked:

Can an allergist/immunologist ever help with chronic inflammatory polyneuropathy? have seen neuro, but have been told i have igg deficiency as well.

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Together: There is an overalp, and a neuroimmunologist should be able to treat it and if in doubt, an allergist can prescribe ivig if needed. Your neurologist should be able to tell you if they can treat the igg deficiency or not.
