No: If you are on tetracycline for a particular infection, you should not be drinking alcohol. Alcohol reduces the ability of the body to fight infection, and also has a number of drug interactions. If you are on low doses for something like acne, social amounts of alcohol may be ok, but in some people actually worsens acne. Talk to your prescribing doctor.
