ARTHALGIA: Observe the kid for further flare-up of joint pains. Repeat lab to check for rf r RA or other collagen disease. Right now it is not conclusive. See arthritis specialist if necessary.

Possibly: This is a tough one to answer. A positive ANA is somewhat nonspecific but can be positive in certain juvenile arthritic disorders. I would urge that your daughter be evaluated by a pediatric rheumatologist.
