I had a back procedure done in may of 2005. i had 2 cadaver bones put in a plate with 6 screws and 6 bolts put in. can the metal ever be taken out?

Not easily: Implantable metal can (and is) removed for serious complications, usually infection. This is not a simple procedure, and you will need something in its place. Why do you want the metal out? You should talk to your surgeon.
