What is edema in chest and neck area in early pregnancy mean?

Need more info: I am not sure what you mean by chest edema or how early in pregnancy. If you mean swelling in the neck and the area above the clavicles that is completely new finding for you then you need to contact your OB and make appointment to be seen soon. If you cannot get in then see your primary to start. If you have chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, elevated blood pressure go to er now.
