Why do you think of the worst scenario? ALS does not often manifest that way; besides, during pregnancy the movement of food pipe (esophageal motility) is also affected by hormonal change. Practice antireflux measures: do no lie down within 2 hours of meal, avoid large meal, raise the head of your bed at least 6-8 inches.

The provided advice should help, and if gastrointestinal issues worsen, do consider a visit to a gastroenterologist. Do not understand why you are worrying about ALS, as you do not describe any of the commonly presenting symptoms, and the disease is highly uncommon at age 32.
