Pilates: There are many forms of exercise that may be helpful but i highly recommend pilates. It is a form of isometric stretching and toning designed to strengthen the core abdominal musculature. It's easy, safe with minimal instruction, and shown to be effective in minimizing musculoskeletal chronic intermittent low back pain.

Exercise: Pilates and Yoga are both excellent ways to strengthen your back. Another great program is RehabZone. Check out www.therehabzone.com for more information.
