Bloody show ?: Active bleeding is not normal and you should see your ob. Passing a little blood tinged mucus is typical of a "bloody show" and means the cervix has lost its mucus 'plug". That is nothing to worry about and is typical. It has no predictive value, though, and there is no way to know when you will go into labor based on the bloody show.
