Normal is none: Typically there is no loose fluid in the belly, or ascites. However, sensitive imaging like an MRI may identify a very small amount which is not anything to be concerned about. Fatty liver may be indication to reduce intake of high cholesterol and other fatty foods. Right abdominal pain can come from multiple causes. If the fatty liver is very enlarged, stretch of the liver capsule can be painful.

Fatty liver: Is abnormal. Need to have liver evaluated. You also may have metabolic syndrome. Get a check up. Women can have small amount of fluid in pelvis. Other than that, fluid is abnormal. Discuss this with your doctor.
