In moderation: If you don't drink, or have a problem with alcohol, you should not start. But if you like to drink, moderate amounts have a health benefit. Red wine has antioxidants and resveratrol, but the alcohol itself has health benefits. It will add calories and affect your blood glu, but in moderation is ok. If you like wine, drink wine in moderation, and don't worry about red vs white.
