Why are my arm pits red and raw?

Impossible to say without Dr seeing what they actually look like but some possibilities are: bacterial infection like folliculitis (treated with oral antibiotic)/yeast or fungal infection (treated with topical cream)/ irritation from deodorant or chemical ( treated with topical steroid). Best to see Dr to be sure but can try no deodorant/ hydrocortisone cream/anti fungal cream for few days

While a fungal infection appears likely on location, other conditions cannot be ruled out. More importantly there may be conditions, such as diabetes for example, that may be at the root and will need to be ruled out. Seeing your doc for an exam would be best so that you can have your condition addressed properly.
