There are many possibilities for excessive sleepiness from medical diseases, pulmonary or neurological for example to drug side effects and sleep related disorders. Starting with an exam and detailed history with your doc would be best at this point.

Initially, should rule out anemia, thyroid, and other common medical conditions. A true sleep disorder such as narcolepsy, sleep apnea, etc., should be next on the agenda. At some point, a neurologist might be appropriate. See your doctor and start investigating.

It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. It would be prudent to see a doctor to rule out organic causes and depression. Wish you good health!
