Repeated oral thrush without being on antibiotics. treatments with diflucan (fluconazole) and nystatin oral didn't help. have ms and use flonase. thank you.

Thrush recurrent: Use of oral or nasal steroids can predispose one to develop a yeast infection. Flonase is a steroid nasal spray. Perhaps you can stop using it for a while and observe if the thrush recurs. Steroid inhalers for asthma do the same thing but can be prevented by rinsing the mouth with water after each use.

See infectious doc: Might find better answers from otolaryngologist, but infectious disease expert may be needed. Hope you are using MS disease modifying agent to prevent worsening.
