Botox Rx problems: It's not uncommon to have soreness following injections into the neck muscles, particularly if there is a baseline inflammation. Best to keep a log of your concerns so that you can give feedback to your neurologist. Botox is very "operator" as well as patient dependent, so your feedback is important in adjusting treatment. Best, kc.

Migralex or an NSAID: You can try taking an anti-inflammatory pain killer, such as advil, aleve, (naproxen) or migralex (which contains Aspirin as well as magnesium, which relaxes muscles and protects your stomach) or ask your doctor for a prescription for a muscle relaxant. Neck stiffness usually occurs right after the injections and subsides a week later when the effect of Botox kicks and muscles begin to relax.
