Better than not: Feet have a very good supply of nerves, which is why it hurts so badly to step on sharp objects or stub your toe. Many of my diabetic patients have lost the "gift of pain", meaning they are completely oblivious to damage in the bottom of their feet because they are numb. As long as your feet are not in pain all the time, i would not worry about it--your nerves are just working better than most!
