Swollen ankles: Swollen ankles may occur from fluid retention, from venous insufficiency, or even from Congestive Heart Failure. So if you have sudden swelling in these areas, it could be a sign that something is wrong with your heart. It is important that you seen a primary physician or your cardiologist ASAP.
