Wilson (1/22/2009) @ npr.Org (http://n.Pr/w6fi0m) | in 70's, saul shiffrin described a group of chronic cigarette smokers who show (a) signs of tolerance to nicotine but (b) no signs dependence on it -i.e., no withdrawal. By some definitions of addiction, these "chippers" aren't "addicted." but who cares? Smoking very bad for your health!
