Foreign body: Could be a small sliver or other foreign body embedded under your skin. Causes a lump that gradually migrates to the surface to expel the foreign material. Can take years to reach the surface, then heals.

Not sure: Whatever this was it is not normal so i would recommend an eval by a physcian. It may have been a foriegn body that finally worked it's way out.
