Eczema or allergy: Eczema is a dry skin condition that can occur anywhere on the body but especially the hands from overwashing. Use protective gloves when doing housework and avoid using drying soaps. Use moisturizing soaps without fragrance such as aveeno, (oatmeal) cetaphil, cerave, dove, neutrogena. Moisturize with creams frequently especially after bathing, showering and washing hands. Vaseline and aquaphor are good.
