Crusted rash leg: A red crusted rash on the leg could be one of many things, including psoriasis. Psoriasis produces red platches on the skin with whiite thick scale. There is usually no discomfort, but it may be tender or it may itch. You can buy some cortisone cream 1% and rub it into the area twice a day, to see whether it makes the rash go away and stop the pain. If it does improve, go to a skin doctor.
