Not Really: Unless you have a source that is not taken care of, ie abscess. If you have source control and completely eradicate the causative organism, you should not have recurrence of sepsis.

Possible: If your body is immune compromised, you may be more susceptible to developing infections. If the sepsis was not treated fully, your body may go back into sepsis.
