Not unusual: If one has already seen a physician and has been diagnosed with a UTI (urinary tract infection), the presence of blood is not unusual as long as it resolves with the UTI treatment. If a UTI has not yet been diagnosed, or if the bleeding continues despite appropriate antibiotic treatment, see your doctor to find the cause of the bleeding.

Good idea: You require antibiotics for your uti. Blood in urine with UTI is quite common and should clear up with treatment. You could postpone second visit to your dr. Or nurse practioner if they already prescribed antibiotics and blood clears up in day or 2. Nb blood in urine ? Other causes. Uti should be treated because you don't know whetheer it will clear up on its own and become a chronic infection.
