BALANCE AND NO BOOZE: For reflux, avoid alcohol and tobacco, carbonation, and large meals. Don't lie down after meals for a couple hours. For the acute inflammation of diverticulitis, you should eat a lower residue diet, but once the inflammation has subsided, you may eat almost anything. I recommend avoiding peanuts and popcorn, and try to incorporate some fibre, as well.Keep hydrated. Good luck.
