GERD &Diverticulitis: Acid Reflux involves the upper part of the gastrointestinal tract. Typical “diverticulitis” involves the large intestine (unless you are referring to an uncommon condition called “Zenker’s Diverticulum”). I could find no medical literature associating acid reflux with typical diverticulitis.
