Can a staph infection on a 4 yr olds ankle be cleaned with hydrogen peroxide and soap?

Infections: Hydrogen peroxide can be used to clean openings in the skin such as wounds or surgical sites. While it can kill bacteria, if an area has already developed an infection, the safest thing to do would be a course of antibiotics to ensure that the infection doesn't spread.

Yes: But it may not make it go away. Needs an antibiotic.
