Better wound care: Are you being seen at a wound care center? If not make sure you get referred to one. It also sounds you need to be under the care of an infectious disease physician.

Wound care is vital: Any ulcer on the skin will be culture positive for bacteria including the two you mentioned. Active infection is not defined on a positive culture alone but what the wound looks like, smells like and is discharging. The cause of the wound needs attention.
