Yes: Flu shots are good for everybody..But it is getting late for this year as flu is not a big problem from now until next winter.

It's fine either way: The thyroidectomy and radio ablation should have no affect on whether not you can take or should take the flu vaccine. As long as your immune system measured on your blood counts is adequate then your decision shouldn't be affectedybyour thyroid issues. Discuss with your regular doctor or oncologist about the benefits of the flu vaccine.
