I have had a bit of a virus since my flu vaccine nearly three weeks ago. my neck now feels a bit tender and sore in places, and its worrying me as i had thyroid cancer ten years ago. could this be the virus, or should i be concerned?

The flu injected vaccine is dead material so it does not give anyone the flu. The nasal vaccine is live so it is possible it would produce brief symptoms but not 3 weeks of them. This is likely unrelated and should be treated as such. Get evaluated.
