Hard but possible: Malocclusion usually result in localized bone loss and ultimately toothloss in the area of occlusion. A partial denture then usually is made to accomodate the occlusion in that area, without reestablish the arch harmony and interarch relationship. Braces can be done in the opposing arch, occasionally grind the contact on the partial denture. Finally the opposing new partial is made.

Absolutely, but: Braces require teeth or implants for "anchorage" to move the other teeth (think: dental tug of war). You can have braces if you have enough anchorage and are willing/able to possibly go without your denture for a time. Sometimes the doc can put false teeth directly on the wires for cosmetics.

Dentures????: I think you are asking the wrong question. Dentures are what you wear when you have no teeth. So you are asking if I have no hands should I wear gloves. If your question is can i wear braces if I have partial dentures (you have some missing teeth), the answer is yes.

Sometimes, why?: If you mean full dentures and ortho braces, no. If you mean partial dentures, perhaps, depending upon the amount of strong anchorage teeth left, their position, the type of movement required, and the wishes of an orthodontist. While, it's unusual, it can often be done. The question is why and what is hoped to be attained? There might be other better solutions. Discuss options with gd first.
