Could be: It could be pancreatitis, but some lab tests should have shown it such as a lipase level or amylase level. I would see a gastroenterologist if the er let you go.

Pancreas: It is possible. Did you have amylase lipase checked. If not i recommend you to see a pancreas doctor.

Blood test showed lipase levels slightly elevated. All else normal. What could cause the elevated result? Was told its not enough to indicate pancreatitis. Had blood in stool a month ago and ongoing left and right side abdominal/chest/back pain?
Blood work normal for pancreatitis kidneys and liver are normal but still having pain in stomach and abdominal area what else can it be ?
I've had 12 weeks of gastrointestinal pain. Have had ultra-sound, endoscopy, stool test, 3 x blood tests, Nexium (esomeprazole) hp7, tinidazole. Can you have pancreatitis with normal blood amylase levels?
