Probably not: Most concerning is the weakness you are experiencing. I would suggest that you wait until after the shoulder injury is formally evaluated as you do not want to cause further injury.

No, see Dr: You should have the problem identified first--and soon since having severe pain and weakness. Delay could result in long-term decreased function. Go to er or orthopedist for exam and imaging. Bring a book, as will take a while.

Probably not: While massage therapy can be quite helpful in some patients, your pain and weakness is worrisome, and you need to have a complete workup. Your doctor may want you to have MRI studies of your brain, cervical spine and shoulder. If, after a complete work-up there is nothing serious found, then you can go back to massage therapy.
