Reducing fever: Yes. You may take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin for fever while breastfeeding. You also want to remember to wash you hands thoroughly before and after nursing to try to reduce your baby from exposure. Consider seeing your own doctor if fever persists.

Yes.: Yes you may take tylenol (acetaminophen) or Ibuprofen at the appropriate dosage safely while breast feeding. However if fever > 101 lasts longer than 3 days please consult with your doctor. And keep nursing-this keeps the baby's immunity strong.
