Fever: It is possible that your baby can develop fever from your illness. You may want to wear a surgical mask over your mouth and nose. Also, make sure you wash your hands before and after touching the baby. If your baby develops fever, seek medical attention immediately.

May be not: You might want to find out first why do you have a fever. If the breast infection (mastitis) is the cause, than probably you won't pass fever to your child. If you have a viral disease or throat infection , than yes. Use a mask while breastfeeding.

Should not: Its important to know why you have a fever. Some infections may be transmitted by breast milk but many times, breast milk contains the antibodies that moms are producing to kill the infecting agent and they are being transferred and to a point, protecting the baby. However keep in mind that If your one month old gets sick, regardless of having a fever, he needs to be seen urgently by a doctor.
