With bony lump, you mean a hard lump? Depending on the size, is it hidden in your hair or it looks obvious.? Is it growing in size? Does it pulsate with your heart rate. If answer to any is yes, then please see the doctor for excisional biopsy. Probability of this lump being lipoma, cyst, or other benign lesion is high, so good luck. Hope it helps.
