My son has fluid in his ears. his doctor said to try and get it out but i have no clue how. any help? she was useless, it was not his regular doctor

See below: We are talking about fluid remaining in middle ear(behind ear drum) called middle ear effusion. This fluid often clears by itself, however, if fluid remains over 3 months and affects hearing, surgical intervention (tube insertion) will be required to drain out fluid and restore hearing.
