Hip pain: Check with your orthopedic hip reconstruction surgeon. May just be sprain/strain, but check with exam & imaging for any fracture, dislocation, or loosening.

Hip pain: Those symptoms can signal a potential problem in the hip. An x-ray and a visit to an orthopaedic surgeon would be a good idea if the symptoms continue.

Why would you still have pain after a total hip replacement. In the pre-op discussion, the Dr said sometimes you don't get rid of the pain. If that happens, and it did, what should be the next step? Groin pain and lateral hip area pain?
