A socket problem...: Groin pain could be failure of the socket implant to achieve bone ingrowth, which means it is loose. Another common cause is tendinitis of the psoas tendon. This can be treated with nsaids, injection of steroid into the tendon sheath, or surgery to relieve impingement.
