Renova (tretinoin) and Sun: Renova (tretinoin) is Retin-A mixed with a moisturizer. It has the effect of reversing sun damage. In other words it makes your skin more like a babies skin. When your skin gets healthier like that it is more prone to sun damage (like a babies). That is the reason that you need to watch out for the sun with renova (tretinoin). Normal artificial light does not cause that problem. Remember to use your sun block, too.

Avoid ambient light: The difficulty with daytime plans of staying inside out of sun is that there is more ambient light than one intends, e.g. Through windows, etc. Plans change, and driving in the car will lead to exposure to sun. Artificial lights vary in wavelength, but usually are not the major concern. Check the particular types of light used, but most people avoid problems by using Renova (tretinoin) at night.
