Arrested hydrocephal: If the symptoms have returned you need to contact your surgeon and have them re-evaluate the procedure and make sure the stoma has not reclosed - this can be done with an MRI using a cine flow study.

Needs re-evaluation: Evts can close up. If the symptoms return, this should be re-evaluated by your neurosurgeon. Possible considerations include re-doing the evt or placing a ventriculo-peritoneal shunt. Imaging with an MRI scan is helpful in guiding the treatment.
