I am curious if you're allowed to eat shrooms (the magic ones) with hydrocephalus. i have done them previously before my diagnosis. my surgeries include a failed etv and vp shunt placement which were a year and some change ago?

I advise against eating these as they can raise the blood pressure and have such brain effects as hallucinations. headaches, coordination problems and drowsiness. Your neurosurgeon can also advise you.

Be real! You already have abnormal brain function and thus are sensitive to psychotropics. Bad reactions may occur. At this point research in this area is lacking. Search for experienced psychiatrist for advice
