See your doctor: Websites like healthtap are excellent sources of medical information and provide a great forum for people to get information from doctors. However, it is impossible to make a meaningful diagnosis from such little information. We are a "hands-on" profession and learn a great deal from talking to our patients and examining them; even more so if we have a relationship with them. Please see your dr.

Age related: If you are elderly, you may have diverticulitis often treated with antibiotics or surgery, if perforated. If you are young and female, it may be related to your ovary. A pregnancy test should be drawn also to make sure this is not a tubal pregnancy. Other less serious diagnoses do exist but if the pain persists and you mount a fever, seek medical attention immediately.
