Hi. how long after being on clotrimazole does it take to get rid of ringworm and how long until it stops being contagious?

Varies: Ringworm treatment will vary from person to person and depend on how bad it is. If it is not improving with topical cream you probably needed to be seen and discuss oral medication.

Two weeks usually: Topical Clotrimazole should be effective in treating rinworm in about 2 weeks time. To be certain to clear the eruption , you can use it for an additional 2 weeks.
