Besides taking milk thistle, what should i do to reverse the effects of a fatty liver (not from drinking)?

Weight loss...: Fatty liver disease is most often a consequence of the foods we eat and being overweight. There is no specific treatment (drug or supplement) effective for reversing fatty liver. If your bmi is > 24, losing weight will result in improvement in ast/alt and reduction of fat in the liver. Certainly elimination of alcohol (if you drink) is recommended. Stop the milk thistle.
