Various options: Ankylosing spondilytis can limit some of the surgical options and outcomes. Treatment needs to be indivisualized depending on what your x-ray, EMG test and MRI showed, and how well you responded to physical therapy and steroid injections. Please discuss with your doctor and ask second opinion, if you have still questions. I wish you the best.
