How u know u got bladder infection?

Peeing hurts: You may feel like you have to pee all the time and it hurts to pee. Talk with your doc about treatment. It's important because not only do you want to feel better soon, you also want to prevent a bladder infection from zooming up to your kidneys.

Urinalysis/culture: Culture, antibiotics, lots of fluids.

Symptoms & urinalysi: Suspect UTI from symptoms of urinary frequency, urgency and/or burning pain, foul smelling, cloudy or bloody urine. Then urine test would be positive for bacteria (usually nitrite positive) and prabable large numebr of white blood cells. Urine culture will determine the type of bacteria causing the uti, & sensitivities would demonstrate susceptability to various antibiotics.
