The scoliosis: An be causing your pain but also the various nerves can be impinged on by disc herniations. Consult a back pain specialist.

Unlikely to be : Scoliosis as this is typically a painless condition unless it is a severe unbalanced curve or if it is located in the lower back where it can alter the mechanics of how you back functions. Also, there us a higher incidence of spondylolisthesis in scoliosis patients that can be the source of pain. See a spine specialist for evaluation.
