Not by yourself: Please talk with your doctor about plans to conceive, and how your depression and medication factor into that. A good treatment team would include a psychiatrist, obgyn, and therapist. Depending on risk vs benefit in your case, an antidepressant may be more advisable than not. Lexapro (escitalopram) needs to be tapered if you do decide to stop it. Your body should eliminate it by about 7 days after last dose.

1 month: There is no risk once you are off it. 30 days is a safe window. But the data are even unclear, whether it is risky to be on it and get pregnant. For someone with significant depression, the risk of going off the medication is likely greater than any risks to a developing fetus.
