Probably not: An enlarged thyroid (goiter) can be related to genetic tendencies (familial goiter), autoimmune thyroid disease, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, iodine deficiency, nodular thyroid disease. As long as your thyroid function is normal, and you do not have any significant thyroid nodules that might require biopsy, and it is not affecting your breathing, or swallowing, there is usually nothing to do.
