How can a meniscus get displaced after having surgery? i had a mri and that is what showed. does that mean a tear? please help

Meniscus: You can certainly have a retear of the meniscus or failure of fixation if the meniscus was repaired. Sometimes on the mri, the lateral meniscus will have excess excursion called a wrisberg variant. Without seeing your MRI or knowing what they did previously, it's hard to predict what is going on with the meniscus. I'd recommend seeing a sports surgeon.
