See ORS: A meniscus tear may feel better w/nsaids and pt but the meniscus will not heal w/this treatment.Turning, twisting and squatting activities may further tear the meniscus.They generally cause pain, sometimes popping or'catching' and swelling.See your ors.The tx. Of choice is arthroscopy w/meniscus repair vs. Resection.
